Davis' Acura sponsorship was announced at the 2005 Honda Classic PGA tournament held in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
This is the first time Acura has endorsed a professional golfer and the first automotive sponsorship deal for Davis,
who will wear an Acura logo on his left sleeve at tournaments.

Davis Love III has been a leading PGA Tour pro for over twenty years. He has racked up 18 career PGA tour victories,
including two PGA Players Championships and a PGA Championship.
"I am thrilled to formalize my relationship with Acura and honored that they have selected me as their first
professional golfer for sponsorship," said Davis. "I look forward to working with them… and of course, to driving an Acura."
